Small loader crane for building materials and landscaping
For delivering paving stones, bricks or bagged goods, a compact crane is often enough. Our Mercedes-Benz Atego and MAN TGL with 9.5 to 12 tonnes gross weight also fit through narrow entrances and residential streets.

Medium loader crane for pallets, big bags and civil works
The all-rounder on site: an 18 tonner with a crane in the 11 tonne-metre class sets pallets, big bags, mesh boxes and sewer pipes right where they are needed and then tips the bulk load.

- Reach around 10 to 12 m, just over 1 t at full reach
- Payload around 8 to 9 t on the MAN TGM 18.320

Large loader crane for containers and heavy loads
Swapping containers, placing steel beams or moving heavy components needs reserves. Our three and four axle trucks from 26 tonnes carry cranes in the 18 tonne-metre class and above.

- Reach 10.3 to 12.6 m, up to 1.6 t at full reach

For precast concrete, steel or building materials on the trailer: tractor units with a loader crane behind the cab. You load large, heavy parts yourself and set them down with a long reach.
Driving with a semi-trailer requires a CE licence.

Our trucks with loader crane are ready for you in Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. In Alsdorf in the Aachen city region you will find us at Trommsdorffstraße 5–7, as well as in Herstal near Liège and in Lentzweiler in northern Luxembourg (Op der Bréimicht 16).
At handover, we go through the vehicle and crane together with you so that you can get started safely straight away. Our current rental offer shows which vehicle is at which location.

What is a truck with loader crane?
A truck with loader crane has a hydraulic knuckle boom crane fixed to the chassis, usually right behind the cab. You load and unload yourself and set the load down exactly where it is needed. Unlike a mobile crane, the same vehicle transports and lifts.
Which crane size do I need?
It depends on the weight of the load and the outreach, meaning the distance between the crane column and the drop-off point. The further the crane extends, the less it can lift. A Palfinger PK 12.501, for example, still lifts around 1 t at its full reach of 9.8 m, and much more close to the truck. The load chart on the crane always applies. Tell us the weight, distance and height of the drop-off point and we will recommend the right vehicle.
Who may operate the loader crane?
The rules depend on the country where you work. In Germany, DGUV Vorschrift 52 requires the crane operator to be at least 18, fit for the job, trained on the crane and appointed in writing by the employer. In Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, the national requirements for crane operator training apply.
Which driving licence do I need for a truck with loader crane?
All our trucks with loader crane have a gross vehicle weight above 7.5 t, so you need a category C licence, and category CE for the tractor unit with semi-trailer. For commercial driving, the driver qualification (code 95) is usually required as well.
How long can I rent a truck with crane?
You rent for as long as you need the truck with crane. For longer jobs we also offer leasing or rent-to-own. We rent exclusively to businesses.
How much does it cost to rent a truck with crane?
The rental price depends on the chassis, crane size and rental period, so it is available on request for each vehicle. Briefly describe your job and you will receive a concrete offer.
Is the vehicle insured?
Yes, for short-term rentals our all-inclusive package is standard and insurance is included in the monthly rent. For longer terms, the renter can arrange insurance after agreement.
Can I return the truck with loader crane early?
Yes, you can return the rental vehicle if you no longer need it. We are happy to explain the conditions.
How often is the loader crane inspected?
In Germany, DGUV Vorschrift 52 requires loader cranes to be inspected by a competent person at least once a year. At handover we go through the truck and the crane together with you.
