Tippers: even in heavy haul transports easy going

Tippers are used for the transport of bulk goods, for example cereals. The containers are open to the top and have very big capacities. The dumping body is 5 m long, 2,50 m high and is able to contain up to 30 m³. The dumping bodies are fitted on the chassis. These can be switched on other vehicles if necessary. Tippers are generally equipped with a multilift.

Tippers are often available as trailers because of the continuous loading platform. A truck with a tipper trailer is called an articulated train. These are offered by many different manufacturers with different bodies with a cargo capacity up to 100 m³ so the transports can be perfectly matched to their specific tasks.
If the field of application is near to rails, road-rail vehicle can be used. These are vehicles which are able to drive on roads but also on rails. The company Zweiweg-Schneider focusses since 1990 on the manufacturing of the combination of hydrostatic track driving system and special bodies for up to 40 tons vehicle weight and 80 km/h on rails.

Tipper trailer are used for recycling, demolition and earth works and also for bulk material and scrap transports. In additional combination with a crane these tasks can be easily done.
